A HISTORY OF QUALITY AND INNOVATION

Established in 1983, Atec Marketing Limited was founded by Susan and Andy Kalbfleisch in Ancaster, Ontario - a suburb of Hamilton.  Susan was a school teacher who was concerned by the poor quality of jump ropes and resources available to students.  Andy, her husband, was an engineer and saw an opportunity to develop a high-quality locally-made jump rope.  Together they designed and developed a line of high quality jump ropes, resources, and instructional materials to promote the benefits of jump rope.  The business expanded and they were soon shipping and promoting jump ropes and resources around the world.

Atec jump ropes undergo laboratory testing to confirm their superior quality.

Andy and Sue have since retired but Elizabeth, their daughter, has taken up the mantle and continues the legacy started by her parents.  Elizabeth has become an expert in her own right, authoring several books and resources, as well as launching new jump rope programs around the world.  Her husband, Steven, has contributed to product innovation by designing and launching a line of ball-bearing jump ropes as well.

Together, Elizabeth and Steven are most proud of the fact that they have continued to develop and manufacture products locally instead of offshoring production.

All Atec products are 100% manufactured in Canada.

Often copied by competitors, Atec Marketing continues to evolve and innovate in the jump rope space.  In addition to its physical products, Atec Marketing has also developed instructional programs and curriculum designed to be delivered online.  They have partnered with international jump rope organizations to provide this instruction to jump rope competitors and coaches all around the world.Thank you for supporting this family-run Canadian small business.
